Some of the most enjoyable events to perform at are milestone birthdays, especially when guests of all ages are celebrating together.
In September I performed at a joint 50th birthday party at The Pumping Station in Leicester, an evening where the focus was simply on everyone having a good time rather than following a strict schedule.
Interestingly, the booking came after the hosts had previously seen me perform at another Leicester event at Brooksby Hall. That kind of repeat enquiry is often the best sign an event has made a lasting impression.

Creating a Moment for the Birthday Guests
Towards the end of the performance, I performed a personalised routine for the two birthday guests.
They each signed a card, and the two cards fused together into one — leaving them with a physical souvenir from the evening.
Personalised moments like this often become the part guests talk about most afterwards, because it’s tied directly to the occasion rather than just observed.
